Publications, Updates and Resources

WMS has always had a commitment to research and education through its publications and conferences. From our flagship peer-reviewed journal, Wilderness & Environmental Medicine, to the informative Wilderness Medicine magazine, to the unparalleled Practice Guidelines for Emergency Care, and a multi-topic educational lecture series, the Society is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date information regarding wilderness medicine topics.

We also provide research opportunities for our Student Interest Group members to publish medical updates online. See our newest medical update and peruse our medical update archives below.
